At Learning Ladder Adventures, we’re more than just a daycare; we’re a vibrant community nestled in the historic district of downtown Sioux Falls. Our story began with a vision to fill the critical need for quality childcare in our area. With nearly 22 years of dedicated experience in early childhood education, our founder, Danay Johnson, and her husband Paul, embarked on a journey to create a nurturing and engaging environment for young learners.
Our facility, a beloved and long-standing feature of the neighborhood, has been thoughtfully renovated to meet the modern needs of families. Located conveniently at the intersection of 6th Street and Spring Avenue, we’re perfectly positioned for parents working in downtown Sioux Falls. The daycare, once operated by Volunteers of America, has been a missing piece in our community’s puzzle for the past two years. We’re excited to bring it back to life!

Your child will enjoy doing art, circle time, group activities, learning through free play, and outdoor play (weather permitting). We take one nap per day between 12:00 and 1:30p.

We are open five days a week.
Monday – Friday: 6:30a to 6:30p CT
Weekends: CLOSED
We are closed during New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, East Monday, and Friday before Labor Day.
